Warranty Certificate

Arbor Valley Cabinets – Warrants all materials and workmanship used in the construction of all of our cabinets, closets and furniture products to be free of any defects under normal use, to the original purchaser at the initial site of installation. Arbor Valley’s obligation is on defective components and those other components associated with it. This warranty applies to residential applications only and is not transferable to subsequent owners. The duration of this warranty for residential use, for which it is valid, is offered as is referenced on the chart below for both the “Advantage Line” and the “True Custom Line”. The duration of this warranty for which it is valid, for the purposes of commercial and rental use, is 1 year for Arbor Valley’s “Advantage Line” and 2 years for Arbor Valley’s “True Custom Line”. If our product is found to be defective, the defective part will be repaired and/or replaced (where deemed necessary) by an authorized Arbor Valley representative. This warranty becomes null and void if any of the installed products are altered in any way. Furthermore, this warranty will not apply to cabinets or any installed products damaged by misuse, neglect, acts of God, exposure to moisture, exposure to extreme temperatures, normal incidental deterioration such as nicks, scratches, abrasions and natural aging whether resulting from the effects of normal wear and tear or abnormal use. Natural woods may vary in color and characteristics and may exhibit subtle changes as they age, these deviations are not covered by this warranty. Damaged from sunlight, smoke, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may also affect color match or paint over time and therefore, damage due to these conditions are not covered by this warranty. Painted wood doors will continue to expand and contract with seasonal changes and therefore, hairline cracks at the door joints and movement of wood panels are characteristic of wood cabinetry along with variance in color and as such are not eligible for warranty for these occurrences or conditions. Relative humidity of 40-50% should be maintained throughout the year. A tolerance of 1/8″ is acceptable in cabinet width as this allows for the different types of finished end materials used in cabinets. A tolerance of 3/16″ is acceptable in door warping (corner to corner) and thus will be considered acceptable and will not be grounds for replacement. Replacement parts are subject to availability and therefore, warranty replacement parts may differ somewhat from the original parts. This includes door styles, finishes and other parts used in Arbor Valley products. A unique feature to this warranty that sets Arbor Valley apart from our competitors is that for the “True Custom Line”. This warranty covers all service work that is done under warranty, meaning the original purchaser or owner will not be charged any service call fees whatsoever for work that is covered by this warranty. Some industry standard service call charges may apply for the “Advantage Line” products for the purposes of this warranty at the discretion of Arbor Valley. This warranty sets forth your sole and exclusive remedy as a warranty holder for any nonconformity in a cabinet or closet product. In no case will Arbor Valley be liable to you or any other person for any consequential, special or indirect losses or damages of any kind. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND ARBOR VALLEY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES MAY NONETHELESS EXIST BY OPERATION OF LAW, SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION PROVIDED BY LAW.
